On 20 March 2026, the 13th Lower Silesian Artistic Song Competition for Amateur Soloists will be held in the Theatre Hall of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław as part of the Children's Academy of Music. The competition is open to students of educational institutions in Wrocław and Lower Silesia aged 6 to 18. Students of music schools are eligible to participate, with the exception of students of solo singing classes.

Soloists in the following age categories may participate in the competition:

• I - Category from 6 to 9 years of age,
• II - Category from 10 to 13 years of age,
• III - Category from 14 to 18 years of age.

The competition programme includes the presentation of two solo songs without the use of a microphone, with piano accompaniment originally written in sheet music, from the works of 19th and 20th century Polish composers, from among the following: Stanisław Moniuszko, Fryderyk Chopin, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Zygmunt Noskowski, Stanisław Niewiadomski, Jan Gall, Witold Lutosławski. Participants in the first age category (6 to 9 years old) may additionally perform songs by composers Mieczysław Drobner, Tadeusz Mayzner and Edward Pałłasz.

The total performance time should not exceed 8 minutes.
